About me

years of age. Husband and father to one daughter, one son and one liver and white spaniel.

I’m an experienced business applications professional with over years in IT with the majority of that time delivering, supporting and improving enterprise technology solutions across large and complex environments.

Throughout my career I’ve worked across application support, systems analysis, web development and technical delivery, giving me a broad understanding of both technology and the people and processes it supports. I enjoy translating technical requirements into real, impactful and practical business outcomes to ensure organisations make better use of technology through automation, integration and continuous improvement.

I’ve supported large-scale enterprise platforms used by thousands of users and customers, contributing to system enhancements, governance, release management and business-critical application support across a variety of industries.

When I'm not in the (home) office, I'm probably taking part in one of many sporting activities. I currently play for Chippenham Hockey Club and Swindon Storm American Football Club. I am also very proud to have represented my county as Wiltshire field hockey goalkeeper. Aside from sport, I like to think I can play bass guitar, enjoy going to gigs and of course love spending the weekend with the wife, dog and the kids!

I am a keen investor of tech startups and often take part in crowdfunding public projects. I am known to tinker with old tech and am a member of several tech modding communities online. I'm also ashamed to admit I have an awful habit of buying and building mechanical keyboards...
